I realize the drift problem of my Switch joy stick when my Link steps to the edges and fell off. Things goes worse with use. And I was blamed because of to much strength on the joy sticks because of nervous. Cause my Switch is out of Nintendo warranty and it's too expensive to go for a pair of new Joystick, I decided to replace the stick by myself. The replacement took me about 30min.
The replacement tools includes 1 x "Y" tri-wing screwdriver, 1 x "+" cross screwdriver, 1 x tweezer, 1 x pry bar, 1 x pry tool, and two Switch joy sticks for replacement.
Step 1 Open the back panel of the sticker with Y tri-wing screwdriver.
Step 2 Pop up the battery and put it aside.
Step 3 Flip the little black clip up and pop the ribbon cable out. Two ribbon cables in total.
Pop out the second ribbon cable.
Step 4 Take the broken stick out.
Step 5 Put the new analog sticker in.
Step 6 Fix the two screws back to the place.
Step 7 Put the two ribbon cables back to the black clip.
